The Accidental Anniversary at the Umeda Sky Building

Image
It's time to leave Osaka and go back to Chiba after our almost-5-day visit there. And while waiting for our night bus ride, we opted to re-visit the Umeda Sky Building " Floating Garden Observatory" . It is also where we bought a heart lock (just like those in Paris and South Korea) and threw the keys away (literally haha!) so that no one can separate/unlock our heart lock. Yet another selfie with my love. <3 Special thanks to my love for this lovely shot atop the Umeda Sky Building. Selfie at the entrance.   I think he's trying for our 3-year-old heart lock HAHAHA! Too bad, it was raining then and this area was not open yet to the public so we didn't have a picture taken here AGAIN. Next time! That's why he's sad. :-( But we can take a selfie with it as our background anyway haha! Selfie atop the Floating Garden with the view of Osaka. <3 Sample displays of the heart locks that...

Kobe: With the Groom- and Bride-To-Be

Image
After visiting the Himeji Castle, we took an-hour-or-so train ride going to the Port of Kobe . Good thing that we can drop by the Kobe Chinatown or (now-called Nankinmachi) before we can finally arrive at the Port. But of course, we cannot leave this place without having a selfie. :-p It's just so unfortunate that we didn't have enough time to dine and taste the famous Kobe Beef. :-( Will surely have it the next around, though (promise!) Finally!!! A perfect spot where we can have our do-it-yourself (DIY) prenup shoot. Special thanks to our tripod haha! A teaser of our prenup shoot here at Kobe Port. <3 Some of the remains of the earthquake that occurred in 1995. One fine (spring) day at the Port as enjoyed by its locals. :-) The earthquake's remains and the progress of how Kobe has become over the years - in one photo. And there's another selfie! (Never say that I didn't warn you haha!) A zoomed-in...

Osaka: Sweeter the Second-Time Around

Image
I will never forget the Golden Week of 2012 when I traveled to (Osaka) Japan for the first time to visit my then-boyfriend-now-fiance because it was also my first time to travel abroad. And since we had the chance to visit the Osaka area in our recent trip last May, we did not miss the chance to go back to Dotonbori Shinsaibashi where you can find the famous Glico Man of Japan (and take another selfie! ^_^). Guess this is my own store, eh? :-p We again tried the unlimited pizza, pasta and mojos at Shakey's Shinsaibashi. Nomnom! After 3 years, Glico Man has changed... into something better than he was before! :-) Osaka (and Japan, in general) is definitely one of the places that I will never get tired and never get bored of going back to again and again. :-)
